About
Rising from the Black Rock Desert, the PEACE installation is a symbol of unity, connection, and collective intention. Built from steel that lights up at night, the sculpture becomes both a visual landmark and a gathering place for reflection, interaction, and shared experience. At the beginning of the installation is the layered sculptural "P," inspired by Peace and Positivity Promotion. Together with the bold letters spelling PEACE, the artwork represents the idea that peace is actively created through compassion, creativity, understanding, and community. Backed by Playa Peace Project, the artwork serves as a reminder that even in a temporary city, people can come together to imagine a more connected and compassionate world.
